Payton is not a particularly valuable fantasy player so far this year, filling out a platoon in right field, and not producing much when he does play. he might become more valuable if Trot Nixon gets hurt and Payton gets more playing time, but the only time Payton has been consistently productive in his career has been when he was playing in Coors Field in Colorado. Fenway Park is a nice hitter's park, but it's no Coors Field. he might have his bright moments, but don't expect much from Payton.
