Wednesday's Love/Hate

Written by Worm on April 12, 2006

Writing about my players should be a snap. And I know you want to hear what I think about MY TEAM!

Adam Dunn: Love

Batting average liability? I dunno, it says here that he’s batting .417. With four home runs. I think I’m in love.

Lance Berkman: Love

Those 10 RBI look nice. So do those four home runs and that .360 batting average. How lovely.

Brian Roberts: Hate

Um, so at least he’s playing. That’s nice. And he can hit a baseball, which is refreshing to see. Dude, steal a fucking base already. That’s what the speed is for. Damn, you’d think his elbow is slowing him down on the bases or something.

Chris Capuano: Love

WHIP under 1.00, nice 3.65 ERA, more than a strikeout per inning? Perhaps Mr. Capuano is figuring it out. Le mikey!

John Smoltz: Hate

You know, I can see why he didn’t get the Opening Day start. Way to look like you’re done, Smoltz. Die.

Sure, I don’t have as much to say as TiVo, but who does? If you don’t like it, start your own goddam website! No, I’m kidding. Send your complaints or suggestions to Worm@rotogods.com. Please don’t leave me. Please?

You really don't Dunn's average will stick do you? Also, Smoltz usually starts off slow. Remember, I'm smarter than you and my face in on the 20 dollar bill.

Did you Smoltz's CG shutout? Told you I was smarter than you.

i did his shut out, indeed, and i would expect nothing less. and i don't Dunn will hit .400 this year, but i think he can make major strides from his career average.

i mean, i did draft these guys, Peter.
