Analysis of NBA Our NBA League’s Draft: Team 5 of 14
Written by Dr Furious on October 28, 2005
It’s Friday and I am already angry. When you work the overnight shift, sometimes the line between a dream and reality blurs. I could have sworn that I dropped Amare Stoudemire in the KFBA 16 team draft. It seems like that may have been a dream, since he was my first selection with the last pick in the first round. That is a double dose of crappiness, no doubt. Since it is a keeper league, my team could be good next year.
Well we do not stop with the b-ball knowledge here, so fasten your seatbelts as 4 of the ‘gods analyze team number 5. Tivo, being the dad that he is (literally), has illuminated the good Doctor on the err of his ways, so I will not pick a team at random this morning. So prepare yourself for Kenji’s team

FT’s Take
MAO!: Ah, the only guy with possibly worse keepers than mine (wins). Kenji went with a couple of Rockets for his first two pick, the tallest apathetic pussy in the league in Yao Ming and fellow teammate/thug Rafer Alston. Maybe Alston can teach Yao the Mean Face, because HomeChinaSlice is a cream puff. Sheed is the pick I should have made at five. Jalen Rose might not be as bad a pick at six as I originally thought, as there is absolutely no one in Toronto anymore except Bosh. Someone’s gonna play. Antoine Walker at seven is a great pick…four years ago. Vlad Rad is a nice source of threes. The final two picks of Chucky Atkins and Brevin Knight smell like pee. The Dynasty needs to make some moves, but, like yours truly, doesn’t have the monstah players. So solly. 13th PLACE.
Beagle’s Take
Richy Retarded: Big Yao with the 4th non-keeper pick is a huge score for this franchise. Alston is a quality PG, but I wonder how the former street baller will interact with no-creativity on offense Jeff Van Gundy. It could get ugly there folks. Rasheed and Jalen are solid vets and should provide solid production. Antoine Walker . . not so much. I do like the Vlad Rad pick in the 7th as he is a good source of 3’s and Chucky Atkins may surprise some people if he gets 30+ minutes in Washington. Draft Grade: B-
T-Lake’s Take
Ricky Retardo: Good rebound from crap keepers (sorry Kenyon). This squad has lots of numbers across the board that I like. But will struggle in TO’s and the percentages. Mix this team with Ricky’s and you have a contender, but it needs some work as is.
Rank: 10th
Ape’s Take
Kenji's Kunts: I think Kenji did a good job of trying to make up for some very lackluster keepers and has a nice mix of big men and shooters on this team. Martin and Yao are a solid 4/5 and Sheed is a nice bonus with his C eligibility and 3 point game. There are some good shooters with J-Rich and the vastly underrated Skip. Rose can hit a 3 and score, though he is useless everywhere else. Vlad Rad on the bench may be a nice change of pace for the prolific but sloppy Toine, who was a nice pick where he was picked. I guess the one problem I have is that most of these guys don't have any real upside over what they did last year. But, I'm famous for thinking things like that and looking like an asshole, so I won't belabor it. A solid team. Rank: 9th
So there you have it folks. Furious is off to commit a homicide on someone. I am not sure who yet, but somebody’s gotta die. Have a great weekend folks. You can catch me here next week. Same angry time, same angry website.

You are correct good doctor, we will never see the Junkman's team or anything that did remotely well last season.
Although the Fool still owes me chili. So that's kind of well...
