The Rotogods Index - May 9, 2005

Written by Xach on May 09, 2005

Good morning, campers.

Last week I tinkered with a new idea I like to call The Rotogods Index. I had so much fun with the idea that I have decided to give it another shot. I dunno, there's just something nice about editorializing by letting numbers speak for themselves. So slurp down that coffee and settle into your work day. But first, print this out and read it on the crapper:

Yikes. Looking this list over, I am sure to catch some grief from Dr Furious, who owns several of the players mentioned here in our fantasy league.

For the record, I think Willis and Vazquez are pretty nasty.

for the record I can still see the postage stamp on this offering.

Amount of scrub pub issued by Xach: Amillionbajillion!

Stamp, pub, whatever, I still like the format. Tis interesting.

Well, your opinion shouldn't count, you and Xach are the same person!

Gomez, great album. It is like almost 10 years old, get with already.

Number of seasons Hunter has 20 + homers: 4
number of seasons Hunter has double digit SB: 3

Dude don't hate just because your team sucks and you're stupid enough to think that Kevin Mench is your best OF. Especially since you have some guy named Jim Edmonds.

Posted by: Doc Fury at May 9, 2005 01:59 PM

Actually, this would be the fourth season Hunter had double digit SBs, for the record. But perhaps that is mincing, Ape and Ricky can you confirm this?

That Gomez album is 7 years old I think. That doesn't prevent me from recommending it though, clearly.

As for Torii Hunter, that's nice Doc. I never suggested he would fall shortof either mark this season.

And I also never for a minute suggested that Kevin Mench is my best outfielder, but that's a separate matter.
